Associate of Science in Health Science


Students enrolled at MMACHS now have the opportunity to earn an Associate of Science in Health Science (ASHS) degree from Idaho State University. This two-year college degree prepares students for a career in health professions. The curriculum consists of specific general education requirements, health science core competencies, and prerequisite courses required for other bachelor-level and/or graduate-level health professions programs. Advising resources for students and parents are listed below.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA

No WIPs (work-in-progress) grades during sophomore, junior, or senior year

Have a goal of completing a minimum of 60 college-level credits at MMACHS

Be willing to complete a college course during the summer before senior year.

Have signed consent from a parent or guardian and complete the opt-in survey.
