Certifications Classes
During their senior year, MMACHS students are required to complete two certification classes. Certification options may vary with availability, but these classes provide our seniors with the opportunity to gain real world experience, certification in a professional field, and valuable relationships with local healthcare professionals. Each of these certification courses are worth three credits.
Emergency Medical Technician
EMT equips students with the knowledge and skills to address traumatic and medical emergencies. Completion of this course prepares students to sit for the NREMT written and practical exams for national certification
Medical Assisting
Pharmacy Technician
Our Pharmacy Technician training program uses in-class activities, simulation labs, and clinical experience to prepare students for employment as a Pharmacy Technician in a variety of clinical environments. It is a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) approved program that enables students to sit for their national certification exam.
